I began looking for a new flat last month.

I asked the estate agent to look for two-bedroom flats.

He kept showing me ones that were far too expensive, but my mum said she would let me borrow some money.

I don’t mind borrowing from her so I decided to buy the first flat I had seen.

I find someone who did someone a favour last weekend.

I can't stand shop assistants that don't want you/allow you to look around.
I like/keep buying things I do not need.
I tried/forgot to get him a birthday present.
We have to pay/ask someone to take our car after the accident.
I need/plan to buy some new furniture when I move house.

Do you enjoy shopping?

What was the last thing you needed to buy for your home?

What would you like to get for your home at the moment?

Have you ever asked someone to buy something expensive for you?

Do you like to help other people choose what to buy?

Do you let other people buy clothes for you?

Did your parents use to make you wear things you didn’t like?

Do you prefer going out to the shop, or would you rather do your shopping on the Internet?

The company make people think differently about the way they furnish their house.

The number of customers keeps rising.

One day he needed to deliver a table to a customer.

The table wouldn’t fit in his car.

They don’t employ lots of sales people to help you find or carry things.

It seems people don’t mind doing that for themselves.

It doesn’t pay anyone to put the furniture together.

They let the customer do that.

Apparently, people would rather pay less.

However, not everyone seems to find this easy.

He was trying to put together some furniture.

I ask someone to help me.

When people begin shopping, the shop become so crowded that manager tells the staff to close the door.
