Future ( will, be going to, present continuous)



1. Will
·         - Decide at the same time of speaking.
·        -  Prediction that not based on present evidence.
·         - Talk Future fact.
·         - Talk for others.

Ex.:
Ok, I will throw those away. - decide (spontan)
You will never listen to them again. - prediction without evidence
I will be 49 next birthday. - future fact
I will help you clear out the study. - talk for others

2. Be going to
·         - A plan or an intention.
·        -  Prediction based on present evidence.
·         - Talk future arrangement

Ex.:
I am going to sort out the rest of them at the weekend. - a plan
It is going to break the first time he uses it. - prediction with evidence
What are you going to do tomorrow. - future arrangement

3. Present Continuous ( diary, itinerary)
·         - An arrangement with another person.
·         - Know exactly they are happening.

·         I am picking them up tomorrow evening after work.
·         I am having dinner with my parent on last day.



I will do that for you.
He will not throw that away.
When will it be here?
Will it rain at the weekend?

Her kids will probably like them.
My nephew will definitely like my little blue bag.


Will possibly

Example:
The drawer is going to break if you put anymore junk in it.

I can't come to the meeting tomorrow because I am going to the dentist.
