Make and Do

Use Make for food words:

Make breakfast, dinner, lunch, a cake, a sandwich.

Use Do for study words:

Do homework, an exam, a degree.

Use Do for jobs connected to the house:

Do the cleaning, the washing-up (the dishes), the housework.

You need to stop making excuses and be more responsible.

I can not make decision where to go on holiday.
