Things that are familiar and no longer strange or difficult.


get used to
Things that become familiar, less strange, and less difficult over a period of time.

When I first arrive in Jakarta city, I wasn’t used to getting up at 5 a.m. everyday.
I have been in Jakarta city for sometime now. I am used to getting up at 5 a.m. everyday.


I will never get used to being outside in those temperature.
I certainly wasn’t used to the lumps of fat.
I am slowly getting used to it.

In any verb form, ex:
I am used to staying in these wonderful tents now. (Present Simple)
