Get = start
Get down to = start doing something that I have delayed.
Get move on = start doing something more quickly.
Ex:
Do you find it difficult to get down to work on a new project?
He should, “Get a move on.”
Get = become
Get tired = become bored or fed up with something.
Get cross = become angry.
Get lost = not know where you are.
Ex:
Would you get cross with your friend if he/she was extremely late?
Do you often get lost or do you have a good sense of direction?

Get trough = be able to talk to somebody on the telephone.
