Hopes and dreams

Present perfect statements
I have been to Europe.
You have done a lot of things.
We have had a lot of fun.
We have traveled in Asia.
He has surfed in Hawaii.

I haven’t been to Paris.
You haven’t gone sailing.
We haven’t saved enough money.
They haven’t been to Malay.
She hasn’t tried surfing before.

Is often used with these frequency of expression.
I have always wanted to study acting.
We have gone sailing once/twice/many times.
She has never tried it before.

When people talk about travel destinations, they generally use been as an alternative to gone to mean gone somewhere and come back,
As in I have never been to Paris.
People use went (not was/were) in past tense sentences, as in I went to Paris last year.

Ex:
I have always wanted to try scuba diving.
Really? Not me. I have always been afraid of deep water.

I have not done anything fun lately.
Me neither. I have not had any time.

I have not seen the x movie. I really want to see it.
We should go! All my friends have seen it, and they loved it.

I have gone to E. I have never been to Paris.
Me neither. My cousin lives there. He has invited me several times.
But I have not had enough money to to.

I have always wanted to try hand gliding.
Really? Not me. I have always been afraid of lying.

To go surfing.
I have never tried it before, but
My brother goes surfing all the time.
He has even surfed in Hawaii.

Well, my parents have never traveled outside of Japan.
So I want to take them to Europe.
I have been there many times.
So I know all the best places to go.

Well, c and I have gone sailing a few times with friends.
And we have had a lot of fun.
So our dream is to buy our own sailboat.
But we have not saved enough money.

T
Actually, I have always wanted to be an actor.
I have not had any formal training.
But I have been in a couple of college plays.
So, my dream is to study acting.
