They
didn’t go there last year.
I am
very careful about what I eat.
Whatever
you do, don’t go in there.
If I
were you, I would go to bed immediately.
It is
very foggy outside.
California
was hit by a hurricane last night.
I
haven’t got a clue how to do this.
Have
you any idea where he has gone?
I am
not as healthy as I used to be.
Unless
I change jobs now, I will be too old.
I have
made a lot of progress this month.
My mum
used to let me stay up late.
He
always keep making excuse.

Abagnale Jr pretended to be a Pan Am pilot for two years.
How did he become a pilot? Easy. All he needed was a uniform and an identity card. And this is how he got them.
First he phoned Pan Am’s head office. He explained that he was one of their pilots on an overnight stop in New York and that the dry cleaners had lost his uniform. He was told where to go to buy a new one. Despite having no money at all, he managed to get himself a uniform: he invented a Pan Am employee number and put it on his account.
Now, even though he had a uniform, he still needed an identification card. So he found out who made Pan Am’s identity cards and phoned them. He explained that he worked for a small airline which wanted to start using staff ID cards and they gave him an example with his photo on. The only problem was that it didn’t have the Pan Am sign on it. However, he soon solved this problem too. He bought a toy Pan Am plane and used its sign on his card. With his new identity Frank was able to travel around the world and stay in hotels - all for nothing!
You might think that in today’s world this would be impossible. However, Abagnale says that in spite of tighter security, the opposite is true. While thirty years ago faking a document was a job for an expert, today with the help of computers, scanners and colour printers it’s easy to fake any identification.
