No, not double it, but we would be willing to increase it to 7% (per cent).  That’ s pretty generous, I’d say.

Hmm, that is asking a lot, I honestly don’t know. I would have to check our stock level.

I would like to make a proposal. I would be prepared to place an order for 150 standard rugs if you could give us a discount of 10%, and provided you delivered the goods by the end of the month. How about that?

OK, if I am certain we can supply you that quantity by the end of the month, you have got a deal. We will give you a discount of 10% off the list price for that amount.

We can deliver by that date, providing we have the order today.

So, what you are saying is you can have 150,000 ready for 12 April, but you don’t have stock today?
Yes, that’s right.

I want to ask a question. How are you planning to produce and deliver 150,000 in time for 12 April? The shipping will take at least 3 days.
Yes, I hadn’t thought of that.

I would like to make a suggestion. I think we should leave the question of quantity and come back to it later.
