Good Advertising

What really makes a good advertising?
I always go back to the beginning and ask the person:
What is the person (who is paying for the campaign) trying to achieve?
What is that person’s objectives?
What is it that person wants to happen as a result of spending money on this advertising campaign?

Publicity Stunt Tips - Advertising
Nothing will get your product noticed faster than a well-though-out and well-performed publicity stunt.
First, you need to plan an advertising campaign.
You could start with some teaser advertisement on radio or tv, and design some large adverts for a poster campaign.
You need to highlight all the key design features.
Alert to local media and get good press coverage.
Tip off the local radio or tv station that something is going to happen.
When it comes to the actual publicity stunt, ensure that all slogans and logos are visible.
And if you have the money, why don’t you try a live advertisement on tv?
Finally, try to get some free word-of-mouth and hopefully end up on You Tube.

Note :
Publicity stunt = something done to get people’s attention.
Design features = an important, interesting, or typical part of something.
Honda slogan = a short phrase that is easy to remember.
Poster campaign = a series of actions intended to get particular result.
Press coverage = newspaper and magazines.

Advertising
You may disagree that advertising is an art.
You may even find it irritating at times.
But it has certainly become part of our life.
The newspaper article that you started reading turns out to be an advertorial.
The programme you are watching on tv is suddenly interrupted by a series of commercials for various consumer goods, including one for Crips, endorsed by your favorite film star.
And no sooner do you start surfing the internet that pop-ups invade your screen.
So you stick a break and go for a stroll, only to take it in once more how much hoardings have indeed change your cityscape.
Then, on entering your local supermarket, you notice immediately that point-of-sale advertising is alive and well, but do not refuse the ..given away that day.
Finally you just do it – yes, you buy three packets of Crips and walk back home with a spring in your step.
